What To Expect
Sunday Morning
We are a mix of ages from young people to young married to families and empty nesters. Our People are friendly, and we consider ourselves to be a close family of believers.
On Sunday morning at 10:00am we come together for Sunday School. Following that, we begin our Sunday morning service around 10:50am. As we filter in, songs are played to prepare our hearts for the service.
Our service begins at 11:00am. During this time, we sing several songs, pray, hear Scripture read, and give.
Preaching at Bible Baptist Church strives to make clear a particular biblical passage. Sermons usually last between 30-45 minutes. We close with a final song. We encourage fellowship and it’s not unusual to find people still visiting an hour or more after the service has ended.
Our church family times combine singing, sharing and prayer. We come together at 6:00pm on Sunday evening. After we sing and pray, we take part in a discussion about Scripture and/or theology. After the Sunday evening service, we have snacks and an informal fellowship time.
Wednesday Evening
Wednesday evening is primarily about prayer. While the children learn about God in AWANA, the adults come together at 6:30pm to share matters for prayer, including things like evangelistic efforts and special needs. We then praise God in song, generally for fifteen minutes. After a bible study,we divide into smaller groups to lift up our petitions and praises to God. Our church family times combine singing, sharing and prayer. After we sing and pray, we take part in a discussion about Scripture and/or theology.
